Westwood College
To meet the changing needs of students, Westwood College's online learning platform was established in 2002 to deliver a 100% online curriculum. Today, we have more than 4,000 students enrolled in 17 online degree programs. We utilize an interactive, hands-on learning approach to create an enriching online education experience.
Westwood College was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1953. Originally offering programs in a variety of technical fields, we have expanded our program offerings to include a wider array of career-focused areas of study.
UNIVERSITY STRUCTURE
We have degree programs in Business, Design, Computer and Information Technology, Industrial Services, Criminal Justice, and Healthcare. In addition to online programs, we have 17 campuses across the U.S. in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Virginia, and Texas. Our online campus has 17 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
UNIVERSITY CULTURE
Our educational mission is to provide traditional academic excellence with cutting edge technology. We provide you with an orientation course that will familiarize you with the concepts and tools involved in our online platform. These tools will help you feel more comfortable and ready for online learning. Our Instructional Designers create a solid academic curriculum. The Instructional Designers are qualified and have backgrounds in Education. We constantly review our dynamic curriculum and delivery modes to make sure you are engaged in your education.
Student Services will be available to you, from academic guidance to career development. Our Financial Aid department will help you understand options to finance your education.
